1930s GE Novalux Two-Lamp Signal

Like the Novalux 3-lamp signal I once owned, this is a “wide hinge” style GE Novalux from the mid 1930s; the last generation of solid-body signals.  This is a fairly uncommon two-lamp housing, equipped with steel visors.  This almost certainly had red and green lenses in it on the street, as dedicated 8″ pedestrian signals were not introduced until the 1940s, several years after the solid Novalux model was discontinued.  But I love it with the WAIT and WALK lenses, and I’m letting the historical inaccuracy slide.
