This beautiful hanging pair of 1970s Marbelites was a sweet Craiglslist find from East Brunswick. It was so clean that I assume it spent most of its time in storage, and only a short time in service. Chances are, it was hung in service with the heads positioned at 180 degrees. Back-to-Back green Marbelites like this were extremely common across all of New Jersey on state, county and local roads alike. I positioned the lights at a right angle for indoor display. I sold these as part of a major down-size years ago, but I really enjoyed having this in my garage. Note the Corning (Marbelite branded) “teardrop” pattern lenses. These are among my favorite signal lenses, and were typically installed in Marbelites from 1965 onward.
